The Chapel: Liturgy & Sacrament
Come on Sundays, 8:30-9:15 a.m.
Set in the beautiful Stovall Chapel, this service engages in congregational singing of traditional hymns, praying, hearing and reflecting on God’s Word in the scriptures and preaching, and celebrating God’s loving and transforming presence in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary
Come on Sundays, 10:45-11:45 a.m.
This Traditional worship service features both traditional & contemporary hymns, prayer, preaching, and a variety of soloists and musicians. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. There is a Children’s Time on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month led by Gloria Nordeen.
Sunday Classes, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Classes for all ages are offered every Sunday morning. The children and youth gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. for a brief time of Fellowship and move to their age-related classes at 9:45 a.m.
The adult classes offer a variety of study opportunities:
- Adult Bible Studies, facilitated by Rocky Hamman & Paul Gordon, offers an in-depth exploration of scripture to help participants understand what the scriptures and the teachings of the church meant in their original context and how they might be applied to lives today. The class is open to all ages and meets in the Parlor.
- The Covenant Class facilitated by Matthew Hamman & Pastor Margot, is discussing the Old & New Testaments side-by-side, and taking advantage of well-known biblical scholar interpretations via DVD. The class is open to all ages and meets in the Conference Room.
- JoEtta Biggerstaff & Rick Graff co-lead the group in various study books and scriptures that can broaden and build spiritual formation and development. The class meets in Room.., in the north portico of the church.
Child care is provided from 9:30 to noon.
